"Daily Sabah", an English language edition of the high-circulation newspaper Sabah, ran an interview with Ambassador Zoran Markovic. The interview was published following the recent visit by Turkish President Erdoğan to Serbia and focused on the further development of bilateral relations on the basis of the agreements made.

Ambassador Markovic pointed out that the two countries' relations were based on the policy of not interfering in each other's internal affairs, while contributing to the peace and stability in the region as demonstrated by the recently held trilateral summit Turkey-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Serbia.

Discussing the potential for stepping up the trade in goods and investment, he underlined in particular opportunities to do business jointly in third country markets, but also in the fields of agriculture and construction.
