The event entitled "Days of Serbia and Srpska", co-organized by the Embassy of Serbia, Office of Republika Srpska in Austria and the Association of Serbian Clubs, was officially launched on 4 October with cultural and art programs staged in Kursalon Hübner Music Hall in Vienna.

Serbia's Acting Assistant Foreign Minister Aleksandar Jovanovic made an introductory statement recalling cultural, historical and political ties between Belgrade and Vienna.
The program featured renowned opera singers of the National Theater - Jadranka Jovanovic, Jasmina Trumbetas-Petrovic and Dejan Maksimovic accompanied by the Banja Luka Philharmonic. Cultural Artistic Society "Mokranjac" and "Branko Radicevic" from Vienna and Cultural Artistic Society "Una" from Novi Sad also performed in the cultural segment.



Event "Days of Serbia and Srpska" will last until 30 October. Plays by Belgrade and Banja Luka theaters will be staged at various locations, including exhibitions, other events promoting Serbian culture and business fora in Vienna.



The opening of this event was attended by prominent persons from public and cultural life of Republika Srpska and Serbia, Serbian diaspora in Austria and guests from Austrian public life.
