Banjaluka: "Days of Serbia in Srpska"

altThe event "Days of Serbia in Srpska" opened on 10 October in Banjaluka with ballet "Who is singing over there?" performed by the National Theater from Belgrade. This cultural event will then stage rich cultural and artistic programs in other towns across Srpska until 24 October.

In the press statement, Consul General Vladimir Nikolic expressed his satisfaction that Serbia would be represented in Srpska with outstanding cultural achievements and assessed that it was the continuation of fruitful cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska in all areas. "This time, the topic is culture and Serbia will present in Srpska eight outstanding cultural events in several towns", Nikolic said.

"Days of Serbia in Srpska" program continued the next day with a concert by the Belgrade Philharmonic Quartet at the Cultural Center in Bratunac. On 12 October, "Venac" Ensemble of folk dances and songs of Kosovo and Metohija performed at the Cultural and Educational Center in Doboj.

Ensemble "Venac", on 13 October also had a performance at the Cultural Center in Kozarska Dubica while on the same date the Cultural Center in Trebinje hosted a concert by the Belgrade Philharmonic Quartet.

"Days of Serbia in Srpska" will resume on 16 October with a concert of the Serbian Orthodox Church Singers at the Cultural Center in Trebinje and on 18 October at the Cultural Center "Semberija" in Bijeljina.

The final event will take place at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Srpska in Banjaluka with the opening of an exhibition of the Gallery of Matica Srpska on 24 October entitled "European Phenomena".

The organizer of "Days of Serbia in Srpska" is the Ministry of Culture and Media of Serbia with the support of the Consulate General in Banjaluka.
