Brussels: Award-winning Serbian products presented

altThe Serbian Embassy in Brussels and our Mission to the EU organized the presentation of Serbian products that were awarded first-class prizes for taste, as well as a special cocktail reception for the federal and local authorities of Belgium and EU institutions, companies and representatives of chambers of commerce, on 24 June.

On 24 June, the International Flavor Institute presented awards for prime quality products from Serbia. Traditional Serbian high-quality products - dried plums, raspberry spread, cold pressed pumpkin seed oil, raw honey with lyophilized plum powder and ajvar ("Serbian vegetable caviar") have received the world's most famous, independent certification in the field of consumer goods. The awarded companies included "Agranela" from Valjevo, "Real Red Raspberry" from Becej, "Ekovital" from Bikić Dol, "Happy Honey" from Belgrade and "Strela" from Leskovac. USAID Competitive Economy Project supported Serbian producers of high quality food in competition for this prestigious award with thousands of other food and beverage from nearly a hundred countries.
