For the first time, a Serbian language summer school for students from European and world universities was held in Igalo, from 12 to 31 August. Serbian language school, attended by students from Russia, France, Germany, Austria and the United States, was organized by Matica Srpska – Members' Association of Montenegro, and sponsored by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition to lectures on pronunciation, literature, grammar, students have been provided many extracurricular activities in the form of socializing, excursions, sightseeing tours of Montenegro, and poetry evenings.

Ms. Jelica Stojanovic, President of Matica Srpska – Members' Association of Montenegro, sent a letter of thanks to the Consulate General of Serbia in Herceg Novi for "support in the implementation of a significant project for the Serbian corps in Montenegro".
