During his visit to Budapest, Serbian Patriarch Irinej and His Grace Bishop of Buda Lukian accompanied by a church delegation visited the Embassy of Serbia on 25 May 2019.

The church delegation was received by Ambassador Ivan Todorov, Minister Counsellor Barabara Avdalovic and Defense Attaché Colonel Dusko Djekic. They discussed the position of the Serbian community in Hungary and the bilateral relations between our two countries.

Following the meeting in the Embassy, Patriarch Irinej toured the Heroes' Square in Budapest accompanied by the delegation and hosts.
