Chinese state-run CCTV station and its news channel aired an interview with our Ambassador Milan Bacevic on the "Belt and Road" initiative during his visit to Wuhan, capital of Hubei province.

The Ambassador said that the "ironclad friendship" between the two countries had affected many generations and that the "Belt and Road" initiative was a turning point along Serbia's road of development. In support of these statements he cited Chinese capital investments in transport and energy infrastructure, development of resources and manufacture in Serbia.

The text entitled "Belt and Road initiative comes at a right time", was broadcast also by satellite TV Hubei on "Yang Tse News" program. The interview was also promoted on WeChat, the largest messaging application in China.
