Honorary Consul of Serbia in Yerevan Babken Simonyan received recognition "A Deserving Proponent of Culture" for his contribution to the development of literature, literary translation, culture and Armenian-Serbian ties" by the decision of the World Association of Performing Arts (WAPA). The same award, at the initiative of the Honorary Consul of Serbia in Armenia, was also given to Ambassador Darko Tanaskovic. Both charters were presented on 30 April at the Museum of Literature and Arts "Yegishe Charents" in Yerevan.
