In an interview for the Ethiopian "Capital" weekly, published on 7 April, Ambassador Aleksandar Ristic spoke about trade relations between Serbia and Ethiopia, possibilities for cooperation, but also about his experience and impressions regarding Ethiopia.

He emphasized that the two countries had fostered friendly relations for decades, and that prerequisites for developing trade in the fields of health care, pharmaceuticals and agriculture existed and expressed readiness to help to connect Serbian and Ethiopian entrepreneurs. Serbia imports flowers, spices, oils and coffee beans from Ethiopia while electrical equipment and parts from Serbia could be found on the Ethiopian market, ambassador Ristic underlined.

The Ambassador also discussed similarities between the projects "Belgrade on the Water Front" and "Addis Ababa on Rivers".
