Folk dance ensembles "Kolo" from Serbia and "Parthenon" from Greece had a joint performance at UNESCO headquarters on 23 March. The sing and dance companies showcased dances and songs from various parts of Greece and Serbia and performed some numbers together.

The event was opened by representatives of the Permanent Delegations of the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Serbia to UNESCO, Ms. Maria Corantis and Ms. Danijela Cubrilo respectively, who among others emphasized the traditional friendship between the two countries and peoples repeatedly demonstrated throughout history and in the most trying of times.
