The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the Council of Europe, in cooperation with other missions of CoE member states, took part in an event on 4-5 May on the occasion of Europe Day and seventy years since the Council of Europe was established in Strasbourg.

On Day 1, the association called "Unity Club" based in Strasbourg opened the event with Sumadija and Bunjevka kolo dances. Many residents of Strasbourg and the Alsace region visiting Serbian booth were able to learn about the historical, religious and cultural heritage of Serbia and to taste Serbian food, wines and brandy. The booth was visited by more than seven hundred visitors, colleagues and friends, including Deputy Mayor of Strasbourg Nawel Rafik-Elmrini.
