A large number of Belarus media relayed the press conference held by Serbian Ambassador Veljko Kovacevic, at the National Press-Center of Belarus, on 13 February, on the occasion of celebration of Serbia's Statehood Day of Serbia.

"Belta" news agency and Channel 1 of the Radio and Television of Belarus put a special emphasis on the Ambassador's statement concerning the traditionally friendly and fraternal relations between Serbia and Belarus and mutual interest in further promotion of economic cooperation.

The media also put in focus the ongoing cooperation between Serbia and Belarus in the areas such as science and technology, agriculture, trade, transportation, culture, tourism and defense. They relayed that the trade between Serbia and Belarus amounted to US$ 200 million in 2018.
