The book "The Darkness" by Serbian author Aleksandar Vulin was presented at the 28th International Book Fair in Havana, on 16 February. It was prepared and printed in cooperation with the Serbian Embassy and the Cuban Book Institute.

Maria De Los Angeles Navarro, a literary critic and editor of this novel in Cuba, when portraying this book underlined that it was a historical, social and psychological novel, written in a unique way. The stories of misfortunes, the social phenomena of a nation exhausted by conflicts, is a drama, as she put it, every Cuban can be identified with.
