Quoting the Algerian Parliament press release, the leading Algerian French-language daily "El Moudjahid" ran an article on the meeting between Serbian Ambassador Aleksandar Jankovic and newly-elected President of the Parliament's Lower Chamber Mouad Bouchareb.

According to the newspaper report, Mr. Bouchareb spoke of the traditionally good relations and cooperation between Serbia and Algeria dating back to the times of Algerian people's struggle for national liberation and the contribution of the Algerian President Abdelazis Bouteflika to the development of Serbian-Algerian relations, for which he was decorated with the Order of the Republic of Serbia in 2016. The President of the Lower Chamber also spoke about the contribution to the Algerian revolution made by our cameraman Stevan Labudovic.

"El Moudjahid" emphasized that Ambassador Jankovic congratulated Bouchareb on his election to his new post and conveyed an invitation of the Serbian authorities to him to visit Serbia, expressing his wish for further deepening of bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation in various fields, especially inter-parliamentary cooperation.
