altOn 17 January, in the framework of the "Serbian Month" project, the Embassy in Tokyo and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) co-hosted a presentation about our country on the premises of the JICA Global Plaza.

The presentation in Japanese provided general information on the Serbian culture and customs, tourist potential, sports and on its cooperation with Japan, and included the participation of Serb students attending Saitama University, Ana Logo and Simon Maric, who wore Serbian national costumes.

Ambassador Nenad Glisic underlined the excellent cooperation carried out between Serbia and this Japanese agency, expressing his gratitude for the significant support it had extended to Serbia over the past two decades. In this context, the Ambassador recalled several projects having been realized so far – namely, the flue gas desulphurization construction project for Thermal Power Plant Nikola Tesla, medical equipment donations as well as those in the fields of transport and sports, and support offered to small and medium-sized enterprises.
