Governor of the Federal District of Brazil Rodrigo Rollemberg decorated Ambassador of Serbia to Brazil Veljko Lazic with "Partner of Schools" medal for his contribution to the enhancement and promotion of education and work of state schools in the Federal District.

Governor Rollemberg conferred medals on individuals credited with the enhancement and promotion of conditions at FD state schools to 208 recipients, including 49 embassy representatives, at the Mane Garrincha stadium in Brasilia. The official awarding ceremony took place on 26 November.

The Ambassador said on the occasion that it was an honour and pleasure for him to receive the prestigious decoration, for he personally held in high regard the values and education acquired in state schools, being a former student of one himself.
