![]() Asked why this action of Pristina posed a threat to Belgrade, the Ambassador replied that unilateral acts in contravention of international law posed a serious threat not only to Serbia, but to the region as a whole. He recalled that the KSF transformation had been preceded by an illegal imposition of tariffs on the goods made in central Serbia, which contradicts the rules of CEFTA and of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement that Pristina signed with the European Commission. "The KSF transformation is another attempt by Pristina to circumvent the commitments undertaken by signing the Brussels Agreement, and I am referring in particular to their avoidance of discussions on the Community of Serbian Municipalities. A pogrom was already perpetrated against the Serbs in March 2004, and the process of their return is almost non-existent", Ambassador Crnogorcevic said. |
