altSerbian Ambassador to Russia Slavenko Terzic made several statements to the media in relation to the formation of the so-called Kosovo army. In his statement for the "Sputnik" Agency edition in English he underlined that it was a blow to stability, not only that of Serbia but also of the entire Balkans.

"Such a serious precedent could lead to the deterioration of the situation in Southeast Europe. What would happen to Europe and the whole world if other countries were destabilized in the same way as Serbia? We see such trends in Spain, in Catalonia, in Belgium and in many other countries", Ambassador Terzic said, adding that the Serbian government and the President were still ready to solve the problem in a constructive dialogue.

Statements by the Serbian Ambassador were also published on several occasions by the "RIA Novosti" Agency, entitled "Serbian Ambassador calls the formation of the Kosovo army a political and moral absurdity", "KFOR forces must disband the army of Kosovo" and "Serbia expects principled reaction from the UNSC and the EU concerning the formation of the Kosovo Army".
