Ambassador Branko Brankovic granted an interview to the Romanian monthly "The Balkans and Europe" discussing political, diplomatic and economic ties between Serbia and Romania.

"Next year will mark 140 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Romania. We maintain a historic friendship and have never had any conflicts or hostilities. It is well-known that the two countries have a high-level political relations. Serbia highly appreciates Romania's support to its EU integration as well as regarding Kosovo," Ambassador Brankovic emphasized.

He said that the statistical data on imports and exports testify to the fact that the two countries are major trade partners.
