Film "Montevideo" won two awards, one for the best screenplay and the other for production at the Kenya International Sports Film Festival, the first of the kind organized in Africa. The awards were handed to Ambassador Dragan Zupanjevac, who also participated at the panel on the role of films in the promotion of sports.

In addition to "Montevideo", Serbia showed two more films, "We shall be the world champions" and "Gringo", at this festival featuring more than 100 films from around the world.

The Embassy has established good cooperation with the festival's organizer Asif Karim, publisher of the leading sports magazine in Kenya, who demonstrated an interest in promoting cooperation between Serbia and Kenya in the field of sports. In their next issue they will run an interview with our marathon runner Olivera Jevtic, who has been training for years with Kenyan marathon runners.
