Helsinki: Serbian Film Days

altThe Serbian Film Days retrospective was held from 26-28 October in the cinema K-13 in Helsinki. The festival opened with an address by Serbian Ambassador Sasa Obradovic who underlined the importance of preserving this traditional film retrospective as a guarantee of Serbian art's presence in the cultural landscape of Finland.

The programme of the festival included feature films "A Requiem for Mrs. J", "Humidity" and "Bandits in search of Kosta Ristic's mom", and documentary films "The reason Dragan put together the Nikola Spasic band" and "With eyes open". Film directors Nikola Ljuca and Kosta Ristic were the guests of the festival.

This was the eighth time in a row that this cultural event took place, organized by the Serbian-Finnish Society, with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the assistance of the Film Centre Serbia and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Helsinki.
