Consul General of Serbia in Rijeka Goran Petrovic visited "Srdoci" primary school where additional classes in Serbian language and in Cyrillic alphabet are conducted, and donated textbooks provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Consul General Petrovic said that there was a desire and good will to act in the mutual interest with regard to the cultural and scientific relations between the two countries and that Serbia was interested in the exercise of the rights of the Serbian minority in Croatia, in line with the positive regulations and agreements between the two countries. He thanked the School's Principal Ivan Vukic for his efforts to maintain Serbian classes and alphabet, wishing students success in the current school year.
