![]() Embassy representatives Chihaya Oyaizu and Tijana Nagato held a presentation on the Studenica Monastery, Stari Ras and Sopocani, Medieval Monuments in Kosovo, Gamzigrad-Romuliana and Stećci Medieval Tombstones – as a regional cultural good, and Kolo (circular folk dance) and Slava (celebration of family patron saint) as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage. On this occasion, the invitees could see a panel with photographs and their descriptions in Japanese. The musical segment of the programme featured the performance of Etsuko Tsunozaki on violin and Rika Fukuda on piano, both waring the traditional Serbian costumes and playing music pieces from central and southern Serbia, while Ambassador Nenad Glisic joined them on the guitar for the rendition of 'Tamo daleko' and 'Jesenje lisce'.
The invitees had the opportunity to taste Serbian dishes prepared and presented by Yuriko Aoki, while the event also announced the book about the Balkan cuisine in Japanese by Jelena Jeremic. Serbian wines available on the Japanese market were also presented. |
