altTourist promotion entitled "Let's meet Belgrade" was held on 19 September, as part of the event "The month of the Serbian Culture in Hungary" at the "400" Serbian restaurant, jointly hosted by the Tourist Organization of Belgrade, Cultural and Documentation Centre of Serbs in Hungary and the Embassy of Serbia in Budapest.

Ambassador Rade Drobac underlined that cooperation in the area of tourism between Serbia and Hungary was not on the same level as other forms of cooperation, the reason why the Embassy was working intensively on getting in touch their tourist representatives.

"An increased number of tourists come to visit Belgrade from around the world, not only because of its natural beauties, the confluence of the two rivers, historical monuments and cultural content but also because of the hospitality of its citizens and rich gastronomic offer, entertainment life and socializing. Besides, the fact is that there is a huge imbalance in the number of tourists from Serbia visiting Budapest and those from Hungary visiting Belgrade. The purpose of this event is that the Hungarian tourist workers and journalists get to know the offers and advantages of Belgrade in comparison with other tourist destinations", Ambassador Drobac underlined.
