altAmbassador of the Republic of Serbia in India Vladimir Maric gave several interviews to Indian journalists visiting the Serbian Embassy on 21 August, aimed at promoting Serbian tourist attractions in tourism magazines.

Ambassador Maric announced that Serbia intended to open its tourism office in India next year. He further stated that ever since the abolition of a visa requirement for Indian citizens in September 2017, there had been a growing interest for travel to Serbia for holidays. Ambassador Maric also spoke about the bonds between the two countries dating back to the emergence of the Non-Aligned Movement.
