![]() "Culture is the prerequisite for good relations in all other areas. Many Iranian books have been translated to the Serbian language; Serbia was a special guest at the International Book Fair in Tehran, at the time when two books by Serbian authors were translated to Persian. There is good cooperation in the film industry, and an agreement has been made on joint film production. The Week of Serbian Film, that ended recently, was held in three Iranian cities – Tehran, Shiraz and Tabriz", underlined Ambassador Todorovic. He further stated that Iranian films were very popular and well-known in Serbia, with the tradition of participating at FEST – the Film Festival in Belgrade, where the film "No Date, No Signature" won the jury award. Ambassador Todorovic further said that Serbian artists participated in Fajr Music Festival and Fajr Applied Arts Festival, as the only foreigners awarded, and that two Serbian music groups visited Iran. |
