Banja Luka: Consul Nikolic discusses economic cooperation with the Republic of Srpska

altConsul General of the Republic of Serbia in Banja Luka Vladimir Nikolic gave an interview to the Republic of Srpska News Agency (SRNA), published on 31 July. The interview was headlined "Six Million earmarked for project implementation". Mr. Nikolic spoke about the projects pertaining economic cooperation, aimed at spurring the economic development of the entire region and motivating young people to stay in these territories.

Mr. Nikolic also told SRNA that the Serbia-Srpska collaboration had been carried out under the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations and that the past five years had seen a constant all-round enhancement of these relations.

"The Consulate General is making a large contribution to help the relations remain just as they are, thus directly helping the Serbs to remain in these territories. The fact that Serbia and Srpska are becoming engaged in an increasing number of jointly implemented projects, to the benefit of their citizens, testifies to this", Mr. Nikolic underlined.

The interview was rebroadcast by numerous media in the Republic of Srpska.
