In his interview to the daily "Hürriyet", Serbian Ambassador to Turkey Zoran Markovic maintained that the bilateral relations between the two countries were the best in recent history, with no open, outstanding issues.

The Ambassador elaborated on economic relations and increasing Turkish investments in Serbia, underlining the good cooperation existing in various fields and international fora. Discussing Turkish policy in the Balkans, he stressed that Serbia and Turkey were factors of stability on the peninsula.

Ambassador Markovic also spoke about his diplomatic career, outside interests and impressions of Ankara.
