altStudents of the fifth grade of "Bornholmer" Elementary School in Pankow, a district in the north of Berlin, visited our Embassy, on 16 May, as they were tasked at the "Fair Friends" event to represent Serbia as the participating country of the World Football Cup 2018. The event will be held in Poland and will gather German and Polish schools, each of which will represent one country participating in the football competition.

The reception at the Embassy was hosted in cooperation with the Central Council of Serbs (CCS) in Germany. The students were addressed by Milos Stipic from the Embassy of Serbia, Mr. Milan Cobanov, Chairman of CCS and by Professor Milana Rakic who presented them the Cyrillic alphabet. The students were distributed T-shirts with inscription "Serbia" on it as well as the flags and drawings with Cyrillic letters made by students of the Supplementary School in Serbian language.
