Tunisia: Exhibition on Serbia and Tunisia in WWI

altAn exhibition "Tunisia in the Great War" (2-8 May) held in the lobby of the Embassy of Serbia in Tunis, focusing on the role of our country in WWI, attracted a large number of visitors. Apart from the photographs and documents provided by the Museum of History of Serbia, articles from Tunisian Gazette on the Serbian army and civilians in Tunisia of that time were also on display.

Director of the Museum of History of Serbia Dusica Bojic spoke to the visitors about the role of the Serbian army in the Great War and the importance of its presence in Tunisia from 1915-1919, and about the start of the friendly relations between the two countries.

Ms. Bojic underlined that all activities of the Museum, including exhibitions on the occasion of WWI centenary, were also presented in French language.

Her address was made to the visitors and friends of Serbia, including the representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Tunisia and the Embassies of France and Russia as well as the students of French high schools in Tunisia and their teachers
