Representatives of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council stated at the meeting with the delegation of the Sports Center of the Football Association of Serbia that due to a fruitful cooperation with the Embassy of Serbia, they had reached a decision to invite clubs from Serbia, on a regular basis, to take part in the football tournaments hosted by Abu Dhabi.

Capacities of the sports centers in Serbia were presented in the meeting at the Serbian Embassy, attended by officials of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the UAE Football Association and the UAE Volleyball Federation and of the Emirates clubs "Al Wahda", "Emirates", "Al Hamriyah", "Hatta" and " Al Wasl".

The representatives agreed that an Abu Dhabi Sports Council delegation visited Serbia in the second half of the year with a view to presenting the Emirates as a destination for the winter preparations of the clubs from Serbia. At the meeting with representatives of the Football Association of Serbia, the Chairman of the sports association "Al Wahda" from Abu Dhabi, Hal Hanaei, said that three clubs from their association (volleyball, handball and basketball) would come for preparations to the Football Association of Serbia Sports Center in August. Also, representatives of the UAE Football Association said that in the course of the year they would send one team for the preparations to the Republic of Serbia.



The delegation of the Football Association Sports Center of Serbia paid a visit to the Arab Emirates from 27 to 30 April.
