altDip magazine, regarded by its readers as a Chinese version of the National Geographic, published an interview with Serbian Ambassador Milan Bacevic and a collection of photos showing Serbian cities and natural beauty spots.

In an article entitled "Serbia, the 'Balkan Tiger' Born of Fire", our Ambassador described the key elements of Serbia-China cooperation, Serbian tourist attractions and addressed the readers in a written statement on the occasion of the Spring Festival. He underlined that Serbia's human resources filled him with pride whenever he thought of the future of the country.

"In addition to being home to young and talented people, open to connect at all levels with other participants in the process of establishing a worldwide entrepreneurial community in the field of innovation, Serbia is a country which managed to preserve the wealth of its flora and fauna. Sights, national parks, medieval monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list, BEMUS and Exit festivals all attract world travellers and art aficionados", said the Ambassador and added that the visa-free travel regime with China, which entered into force in early 2017, and the Serbia-China flights via Prague, resulted in a record high number of Chinese tourists.

The Ambassador underlined that his stay in China brought him great joy and an intensified way of living and work, as well as that Serbia-China relations showed an upward dynamic, with the frequency of meetings between their top officials recording a high in the history of their bilateral relations.

"Serbia is one of the most active participants of the China-CEEC mechanism and a country on "The Belt and Road" route, in the framework of which, by engaging in a number of projects and initiatives, it endeavours to become a regional transport and trade hub in that part of Europe. Serbia has initiated the procedure to open a cultural centre in Beijing, which will promote the cultural cooperation and exchanges between the two countries", said the Ambassador.
