The Embassy of Serbia in Washington D.C. and Kennedy Center organized a concert on 12 December at the Millennium Stage of the Kennedy Center with a soprano Biljana Saldo and pianist Milena Gligic performing music of famous Serbian composers.

In addition to Serbian solos and duets, a one-hour program also featured music of prominent Italian, Austrian, French, Hungarian, Spanish and Mexican composers. A renowned Peruvian baritone Jose Sacin was a special guest at the concert.

More than 200 classical music fans who visited the Millennium Stage were members of the diplomatic corps, public and academic circles as well as members of diaspora.
