Zagreb: Performance ”Marko Kraljevic from Legend to Rapping”

predstava cro_08112017_02An inter-active performance "Marko Kraljevic from Legend to Rapping", striving to raise awareness of Serbian tradition and culture and promote knowledge, values and appreciation of intangible cultural heritage, had guest performances in Krnjak and Zagreb, Croatia. It was staged by Children's Belgrade Cultural Centre and Serbian Drama Artists' Association, organized by the Embassy of Serbia, the MFA Office for Cooperation with Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, Archdiocese of Zagreb-Ljubljana of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Serb National Council and supported by the City of Belgrade.

The event on 3 November in Krnjak at elementary school "Katarina Zrinski" was attended by all children who attend classes in Serbian language and culture. The guests were greeted by Mr. Goran Petrovic, Consul General in Rijeka, Mr. Vladimir Marjanovic, head of Krnjak Municipality, as a host and facilitator of the event, Mr. Dejan Mihajlovic (SDSS) and Ms. Ksenija Djukic, Second Secretary in the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to Croatia.

On 4 November, the performance took place in the Banquet Hall of Serbian Orthodox co-educational high school “Kantakuzina Katarina Brankovic” in Zagreb in the presence of many children, their parents, Ambassador Mrs. Mira Nikolic, Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana as well as Father Bogoljub, a priest from Zagreb who helped put this event on stage.
