The Embassy of the Republicof Serbiain Madridand the publishing house "Miraguano", organized the presentation of the Spanish translation of the book "Serbian Folk Stories" ("Cuentos populares serbios") by Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic on Tuesday, 19 April 2016.

The book included 24 selected stories from the 1853 original edition of Karadzic's book, translated from the Serbian language. Ambassador of theRepublic ofSerbia inMadrid, H.E. Danko Prokic, publisher Jose Javier Fuente and translator Alicia Jimeney Mantsiou addressed the audience on this occasion. This cultural event was attended by Spanish book lovers, representatives of the diaspora and our Embassy.
