Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Seoul H.E. Zoran Kazazovic and Counsellor Aleksandar Djordjevic presented the traditional Serbian musical instrument – gusle to the Seongnam Cultural Foundation, on 31 March 2016.

The Embassy received the instrument as a donation from the Ethnographic museum in Belgrade in November 2015. During the conversation with the CEO of the Seongnam Foundation, Ms. Jung Eun-sook, Ambassador Kazazovic elaborated on the origin, method of craftsmanship, and on the significance of the gusle as the national instrument in Serbian cultural tradition. CEO of the Foundation, J. Eun-sook expressed her gratitude for the donation, and the Serbian instrument will become part of the permanent exhibition in the World Musical Instruments Museum within the Seongnam Cultural Foundation.
