Visits

FDPM/MFA I. Dacic attended the NAM Summit in Venezuela, held in September 2016. On this occasion he met with Venezuelan President N. Maduro and MFA D. Rodriguez. FDPM/MFA I. Dacic met with Venezuela's Permanent Representative to the United Nations R. Ramirez, during the regular UNSC meeting on the work of UNMIK, on 29 February 2016. 
FDMP/MFA Dačić met with Venezuelan MFA D. Rodriguez, who participated in the open debate of the UN Security Council on safeguarding international peace and security, organised by PR China, in New York, on February 23, 2015.
Then Minister of Foreign Affairs V. Jeremic visited Venezuela in July 2010.


Economic relations:

In the period from January to September 2016, exports were EUR 53 thousand and imports EUR 15 thousand. In the period from January to November 2015, imports from Venezuela were recorded in the amount of USD 6 thousand. There were no exports.
Imports from Venezuela in 2012 amounted to EUR 1,715 million and exports to EUR 130,000.
