Political relations:

FDPM/MFA Dacic met with Prime Minister J. Erdenebat in the margins of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on 1 June 2017.
Political Director of the R. Serbia MFA Ambassador Z. Vujic was on a visit to UlaanBaatar from 12 to 15 April 2017.

Then Foreign Minister of Mongolia L. Purevsuren participated in the OSCE Ministerial Council held in Belgrade in early December 2015, when he had talks with FDPM/MFA I. Dacic.

FDPM/MFA I. Dacic had a bilateral meeting with Mongolia's Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs D. Gankhuyag at the 21st OSCE Ministerial Council held in Basel in December 2014.

Former MFA L. Bold was on an official visit to R. Serbia from 7 to 10 November 2013. On this occasion he had meetings with PM I. Dacic, MFA I. Mrkic and Mayor of Novi Sad M. Vucevic.

Former MFA of R. Serbia I. Mrkic visited Mongolia from 27-30 April 2013 to attend the Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies, when he met with Mongolia's President Elbegdorj, Foreign Minister Bold and Minister of Energy Sonompil.

Economic relations:

Total trade in goods in 2017 amounted to EUR 520.000, of which Serbian exports amounted to EUR 518.000 and imports from Mongolia to EUR 2.000. In 2016, the trade in goods amounted to EUR 331.000.
