Visits

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala Carlos Raúl Morales Moscoso was on a working visit to the Republic of Serbia, on 10 November 2016. FDPM/MFA I. Dacic met with MFA C.R. Morales Moscoso in September 2016, in Venezuela, on the margins of the NAM Summit, as well as in September 2015 at the UNGA in New York. FDMP/MFA Dačić met with MFA C. R. Morales Moscoso, in September 2015 in New York, and he also met with Deputy MFA J. Rodrigo Vielmann in the margins of the First Conference of States Parties to the Arms Trade Treaty, on August 24, 2015, in Cancun. Former MFA Jeremić visited Guatemala in April 2012.


Economic relations:

In the period from January to September 2016, exports were EUR 598 thousand and imports EUR 181 thousand. In the period from January to September 2015, exports stood at USD 580 thousand, while imports were at USD 105 thousand. In 2014, exports to Guatemala were USD 723 thousand, and imports were USD 683 thousand, which is more than in the previous years (in 2013 exports were EUR 228 thousand and imports EUR 340 thousand, in 2012 our exports were EUR 253 thousand, imports EUR 539 thousand, and in 2011 exports amounted to EUR 61 thousand, and imports to EUR 266 thousand).
