Visits of Serbian officials to the Federal Republic of Germany:

-  Official visit of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to Berlin, on 11-12 June 2014, at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Economic relations:

The economic relations are good, with the potential for further development and a tendency of foreign trade growth. For many years, the FRG has been among the leading industrial partners of Serbia, and it is at the very top of foreign trade partners and export destinations, one of the top five investors and the largest single bilateral donator. From 2002 to 2014, foreign trade increased threefold, and the level of exports to the FRG has increased more than five times, which is largely the result of German companies' investments in Serbia. Around 400 German companies operating in Serbia employ a little over 25,000 workers. In the last two to three years alone, about 150 companies with German capital started their operations in Serbia.

The value of foreign trade has been constantly growing over the past few years. In 2014, foreign exchange rose by over 6% compared to the previous year, and it amounted to EUR 3.153 billion. Growth was achieved in 2015 as well, with Serbian exports to the FRG totalling EUR 1.503 billion (+13.1%), and imports amounting to EUR 2.032 billion (+11.4%).
