Uninterrupted diplomatic relations with the Republic of Cyprus have existed since 1960 when SFR Yugoslavia established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Cyprus after it declared independence. |

Economic relations:
In January–November 2012 period, exports amounted to EUR 74.6 million and imports to EUR 3.4 million. The basis of economic relations is significant investments in the Republic of Serbia exceeding EUR 200 million, invested especially in the banking sector.
