- Former Costa Rican MFA Jose Enrique Castillo Barrantes visited Belgrade in November 2012.
- The then Costa Rican MFA B. Stagno Ugarte visited Belgrade in May 2007.
Economic relations:
In the period from January to September 2016, exports were EUR 1,004,000 while imports were EUR 3,898,000. Trade in goods is characterised by an evident deficit on our side. In the period from January to October 2015, exports to Costa Rica were USD 1.5 million, and imports were USD 3.1 million.
