The security situation in Tunisia has improved significantly, particularly in bigger towns and tourist resorts. Tunisian security forces have increased their presence in tourist areas, primarily in order to provide appropriate protection to foreign tourists.
Serbian nationals intending to travel to Tunisia are advised to heed the information released in the mass media and follow the advice of tour guides and local authority instructions. Serbian nationals should abide by the terms imposed in the state of emergency that has been extended until 12 February 2018, stay away from places frequented by crowds of people and avoid taking individual trips across the country, particularly to central and southern parts of Tunisia including the border areas with Algeria and Libya. For any assistance and advice Serbian nationals should contact the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tunisia at: +21671/780-624, +21671/794-626, +21671/783-057, E-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
