First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a meeting with Ms. June Soomer, Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), an important regional initiative, in the margins of the 8th ACS Summit of Heads of State or Government in Managua, Nicaragua.


Minister Dacic and the ACS Secretary General concluded that the cooperation between Serbia and the ACS, as well the cooperation between Serbia and the ACS Member States, was very good and on an ascending line, with ample opportunities in many areas.

With a view to further enhancing cooperation between Serbia and the ACS, Minister Dacic and Secretary General Soomer signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Association of Caribbean States, enabling further enhancement of cooperation and a more intensive political and economic participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Caribbean region.
