Development of partner relations in many areas between Serbia and Grenada |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic has met with Foreign Minister of Grenada Peter David, on the fringes of the 8th Meeting of Heads of State or Government of the Association of Caribbean States.
In substantive talks, the two collocutors agreed on further promotion of bilateral cooperation initiated during the recent visit by the Grenada Foreign Minister to Belgrade as well as on further development of partnerships in many areas of mutual interest with particular emphasis on education. Grenada's Head of Diplomacy underlined huge importance of cooperation programme in education "The World in Serbia" which provided education at Serbian universities for 5 young students from Grenada. Following the meeting, the two Ministers signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Grenada on Economic Cooperation and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture and Art of Grenada on Cooperation in the Fields of Youth and Sports. Both sides concluded that these two agreements, including many more to be signed soon, would contribute to further reinforcement of ties between the two countries and their citizens.
