Excellent political and diplomatic relations between Serbia and Guatemala |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic is on an official visit to Guatemala as a leg of his tour of South and Central American countries.
During his visit to Guatemala, Minister Dacic met with Foreign Minister Sandra Erica Jovel Polanco. In a friendly and substantive talks, the two Heads of Diplomacy exchanged views on foreign policy priorities of the two countries as well as on the current internal affairs and processes. Both Ministers concluded that the political cooperation was on a high level and that there existed huge potential in the economic field. The two collocutors agreed on coordination of their multilateral cooperation, highlighting the importance of compliance with international law and commitment to the principle of respect of territorial integrity. Minister Dacic underlined significance of a return visit by Minister Polanco to Serbia for the successful cooperation and promotion of the overall political and economic relations, to the mutual benefit and in all areas of shared interest. The Ministers welcomed the excellent political and diplomatic relations, friendship and cooperation that had existed and lasted for 32 years, as reasserted by the official visit of Minister Dacic.
