First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Paraguay, has met today with his host, Foreign Minister Alberto Castiglioni.
The two collocutors discussed the promotion of bilateral political dialogue between the two traditionally friendly countries.

Ministers Dacic and Castiglioni agreed that there was potential for the promotion of cooperation in all areas that existed between the two countries, particularly in the economic field. To that end, the delegation to be headed by the Foreign Minister of Paraguay that would visit Serbia soon would also include business people, with a view to establishing closer contacts between the businesses of the two countries.

Minister Castiglioni highlighted, in particular, that his country would maintain firm position concerning the non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, continuing to advocate respect for the principles of international law and that his country's door was closed to Kosovo.
