First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic is on an official visit to the Republic of Paraguay.
Minister Dacic has met today, in Asuncion, President of Paraguay Mario Abdo Benitez.
In substantive talks, Minister Dacic and the President of Paraguay underlined that Paraguay and Republic of Serbia were two friendly countries. The two collocutors discussed bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation in the areas of common interest, with special emphasis on the promotion of economic cooperation.

President of Paraguay Mario Abdo Benites pointed out that his country would not change its position on non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo as well as on the necessity of respecting international law.
