First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic attended inauguration ceremony on 1 January 2019 of the Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.
On that occasion, Minister Dacic discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and their further promotion with President Bolsonaro. At the margins of the inaugural event, Minister Dacic had several meetings with high-ranking international dignitaries who attended the ceremony: President of Bolivia Evo Morales, Prime Minister of Cape Verde Ulisses e Silva, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Morocco Saadeddine Otmar, President of Russian Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as well as with Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Argentina - Jorge Faurie, Angola – Manuel Augusto, Peru – Néstor Popolizio, Suriname – Yldiz Deborah Pollack-Beighle, Poland – Jacek Czaputowicz, Ecuador – José Valencia Amores, Guinea – Mamadu Ture, Chile – Roberto Ampuero Espinoza, Paraguay – Luis Castiglioni, Sao Tome and Principe – Elsa Pinto and of Guyana – Carl Greenidge. |
