First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today in Brasilia with a new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Ernesto Araújo who has taken up that post just recently.
Minister Dacic wished Minister Araújo a lot of success in the discharge of his new duties.

At the meeting, they emphasized the importance of the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries and examined possibilities for further promotion of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic field.

Minister Dacic informed his Brazilian counterpart Araújo on our positions regarding Kosovo and Metohija and the current phase of Belgrade/Pristina dialogue, thanking Brazil for its principled support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
